Senita Cactus Cutting
Description
Senita Cactus Cutting
Pachycereus Schottii
The Senita Cactus is a columnar cactus that grows with five to ten ribbed stems. As it grows older it can develop extra stems. Each stems contains areolas with bristly gray spines, and may grow hairy beards that cover the ends of the stems (this gave it its common name Sentia or “old one” in Spanish).
The Senita Cactus is very easy to care for. This cactus preferers bright direct sunlight. It also thrives in household temperatures due to its ability to survive in temperatures as low as seventeen degrees Fahrenheit (although it should not be exposed to extended freezes as it is not freeze tolerant). It enjoys a dry environment. This plant should be watered once per month.
