The Calathea Rattlesnake otherwise known as Calathea Lancifolia is popular for its unique patterned leaves. These leaves features wavy edges and a unique spotted pattern. These leaves also track the sun rising and lowering in sync with it. The Calathea Rattlesnake is an intermediate level plant, but a great introduction to the calathea family!
This plant prefers a tropical soil. Loves bright indirect sunlight. One should water the Calathea Rattlesnake frequently keeping its soil moist but not sitting in stagnant water. The frequency should be lessened during its dormancy in the winter. Prefers a temperature around 72°F.
