The Ruby Rubber Tree is a cousin of the Rubber Tree. Its leaves are what makes it distinctive. These leaves contain a red pigmentation that makes the leaves appear to be ruby in color. This succulent is a popular decorative plant for ease of care and distinctive appearance. Although this succulent in its native habitat can grow to be quite large, when potted these plants don't grow nearly as large when potted (hight is often dependent on the pot size).
The Ruby Rubber Tree is a very easy succulent to care for. This succulent prefers bright indirect sunlight. It also thrives in most household temperatures with an optimal temperature range of between 70°- 80° F. It enjoys a dry environment. This plant should be watered twice per month.
