The Aloes are some of the most popular succulents, however there are many different types of Aloe plants, with differing properties. The Aloe Humilis, commonly known as the Hedgehog Aloe is known for its tight arrangement of leaves with spiky spines giving it a spiky appearance. It also features the same leaves as the Aloe Vera.

The Hedgehog Aloe prefers direct light. It also thrives in most household temperatures with an optimal temperature range of between 65°-75° F. It also enjoys a dry environment. This plant should be watered once per month.
