From our first store front in Kansas City (Go Chiefs!) to our new locations across Atlanta — We've always done one thing... Listen to our customers. Plants have always been a part of our business (Hello, Varnish + VINE) but in recent years we've found them to be our speciality. As we've grown an amazing source of exclusive cactus variant cuttings, we've traveled the US hosting pop-up shops and have loved every minute of it — But we've heard from YOU that you can't wait until we're back in your town. Cereus Peruvianus Monstrosus
The Peruvian Apple Cactus is a columnar variety of cacti, with a color ranging from a yellowish green, to greenish blue, or gray. This unique cactus produces fruit that comes in the size of a lemon and is said to taste like dragon fruit. It is a very easy cactus to care for requiring very little attention and a great one if you are looking to buy big cactus.
With Varnish and Vine you can now buy cactus online — This Peruvian Apple Cactus can be shipped to your door. This cactus, has a few preferences when it comes to its environment, but is very easy going. This cactus prefers full direct light, preferring to be placed near and eastern or western facing window. If placed outside the temperature should be above 50 degrees Fahrenheit, and we recommend placing it on a covered patio with excellent light. Although this cactus is drought tolerant, it does need to be watered eventually (once a month) with the soil drying completely 3 days after watering. Should be planted inside cactus soil DO NOT use regular soil.
